La Gioconda, also known as Mona Lisa, is an oil painting on a poplar wood panel made by Leonardo da Vinci, 77 cm in height x 53 cm in base and 13 mm in thickness, datable to 1503-1506 approximately and kept in the Louvre Museum in Paris.
